It's awesome to witness your flight videos, where you make it comfortable for me to learn from your thoughtful/pleasant narration. You make flying look fun! I'm recently retired, and beginning the journey of learning to fly my Beaver 550 ultralight float plane.

If Alina was my kid I'd be so proud as I'm sure her dad is of her. She has a very wise perspective thanks to her diligence for being a pilot. I personally am very impressed with her navigation to Osh Kosh. Way cool.

This island has a bad history

Good on her- I was flying gliders at 14 and can attest that this foundation of learning to be responsible, follow the rules and push on to new experiences will serve her the rest of her life. Perhaps one day I'll be lucky enough to be a passenger in the airliner she's flying.

This is what True “American Grit “ looks like! Dear Parents, if you have a child take lessons from these aviators! Truly , even if this young lady never pursues a dream in aviation, she has learned TO PURSUE HER DREAMS…….and that’s everything! And Dad, You have done well….very well.

Someone should buy that young lady an iPad, mount and a Foreflight subscription. Amazing story!

It is cool , but I can't imagine turning my kid loose flying one of those cross country ! There is a lot can go wrong , even for an expert. And she is 14? I am sort of surprised its even legal.

I wish my daughter , also will fly like her.

Dad was telling her to take off from the taxiway which is not legal unless you have prior permission by the airport management. Additionally, why limit how much runway length and width you have in case of an engine out. That was dumb. Probably would not have gotten caught, but that's not something you want to teach a young person just starting their aviation journey. 🙄

A word of advice for her, ALWAYS wear eye protection! Especially at low levels. That’s the worst place to get hit in the eye with something! She seems to be a natural! Good job young lady! 😃👍

Think she is so smart...if she wants she would be a teacher for youth must got ahead to reach his goal...Jesus bless!

I think she needs a helmet to be more protected.

It requires some courage to cover those distances in a small ultralight plane. Particilarly for a girl of her age. But she is already so dedicated, covering those serious distances solo. Chapeau! Learning flying an ultralight makes her aware of everything that happens in the sky. Like karting for future racing drivers. There is nothing childish on this kid. She is a treasure. I saw this beautiful 3 point landing! She is already becoming a celebrity! Oh, greetings from France/Holland.
